Swati Naik hails from a solid middle-class family, where the importance of education was inculcated at a very early age. It was during her stint in Ferguson College that her love for mathematics and teaching surfaced.
After graduating in 1991 she started taking coaching classes for Indian board for both Mathematics and science. The first batch to go through her hands in 1997 was a cent percent pass with all students attaining over 90 percent marks. During the period 2004 to 2007, Swati worked with J H Ambani School in Nagothane, Mumbai.
In 2008 Swati moved to Chennai for a year to coach American International School students from many countries. From 2009 onwards she has been teaching mathematics for International Board Students in Pune. In 2018 she worked with RMS School, in Chail coaching the class going into the 12th.
Swati is often called by institutions to help students who are weak in Mathematics and she has always been able to hold their attention and pull them up to the level.
In order to help a larger number of students, Swati has started online classes, and this has been a huge success. Students from Chennai, Bangalore, and also international students from Singapore and Middle East are benefiting from her coaching.
